Girls on the Run


Girls on the Run is a program for girls in grades third through sixth. It is a 10 week program, that will meet two days per week, after school for an hour and a half. The goal of Girls on the Run is to teach, encourage, and support the girls as individuals, promote and teach teamwork, healthy self-image and relationships, and how to have a positive impact in the world around them. Each lesson is centered around a theme such as compassion, empathy, teamwork and physical activity is incorporated into each lesson. The season will be working toward participating in a  Girls on the Run 5k at the end of the program.
